Phase 1 Over, General Rankings

Dear all,

The first phase of the Beirut Badminton Youth Circuit took place last Saturday, with a great badminton day for all the participants. I want to thank everyone who took part in the event and made it such a nice competition.

The three age categories played on Saturday from 9am to 2pm in a group phase, that resulted into a general ranking for all the categories. The competition between players was hard, and we enjoyed some very nice badminton games. This motivates us a lot and makes us look forward to the playoffs that will occur at the end of April.

As a reminder, the top half of the general ranking will be playing in the upper brackets, while the bottom half will be playing their own tournament in the lower bracket. This way, the winners of the group phase will compete against each other. Meanwhile, the losers of the group phase won't have to play again against the best players and will enjoy playing with the competitors of their level.

Attached to this post you will find all the General Rankings of each categories, showing who will participate in the upper or lower bracket. For some of the Girls categories, the small amount of participants is not suitable for a knock out tournament. Therefore, they will play in another big group and the final ranking of this group wll determine their ranking in the league.
